Tupac Shakur set to be honored with a Star on the Walk of Fame

Tupac Shakur, the legendary artist, will be honored with a star in the recording category on June 7. The public ceremony will take place at 6212 Hollywood Blvd, commemorating his remarkable achievements and contributions.

To receive a star, certain criteria must be met, including professional excellence, a minimum of five years’ involvement in the field, community contributions, and the commitment to attend the dedication ceremony if chosen. For posthumous awards, a two-year waiting period after the individual’s passing is required. Additionally, a donation of $75,000 is made upon selection to support the maintenance of the stars.
