Massive Fire in North Carolina

Officials are responding to a large fire in the SouthPark Mall area of south Charlotte. The Charlotte Fire Department is on the scene, and residents are advised to avoid the area. WCNC Charlotte crews witnessed aggressive flames and collapsing beams. The fire’s thick smoke has triggered a Public Safety Alert. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
